The Weekend Of Action is coming up this weekend!!! Here are the targets for the Koenig region:
– 820 people canvassed via block walking
– 70 newly registered voters
– 60 Commit to Vote cards completed
– 195 phone bank calls made
As you can see, these goals are pretty massive, but we can do it!! In order to meet them, we’ll need all the help we can get! So please sign up for at least one event, and share this with everyone you know!!

Join your fellow Austin progressives as we get deputized to register voters! Voter turn out is THE way that democratic candidates will win in November, and the key to that is registering more and more new voters! We’ve got less than a month left, so time is of the essence!!
The training only lasts an hour and is required to be legally allowed to register voters. Deputies need to be citizens who are at least 18 years old. Meet us in class and bring a friend!!

With vote by mail applications now being accepted, early vote in person around the corner and election day just two months away, we’re calling voters to make sure they have a plan to vote. It’s hot out there! You know what feels amazing after a block walk in this summer heat? An ice cold craft beer. We don’t want you to miss out on that most sensational of all summer sensations! That’s why we’re meeting at Katie’s house both before the canvass for a quick training and to pick up packets & water, AND after the canvass to drop off the packets and… you guessed it… ice cold craft beer! We want to reward you for your hard work! Don’t drink beer? No problem! We’ve got wine! Don’t drink alcohol? No problem! We’ve got topo chico (yummm!). Don’t drink anything? That’s a problem. You’ll probably die of dehydration, and we don’t want that, so come to the North-Central ATX Block Walk & Beers!! It’s good for you!!

Join us for a WEEKEND OF ACTION block walk!!! Our goal for the weekend is to knock on 850 doors just in our neighborhood, talking to our neighbors about getting Wendy Davis elected this November. Even if you can only knock on a few doors with us, we’d love the help!! If you’ve never canvassed before, don’t worry! We’ll give you a quick training before you head out, and we always go out in pairs – bring a friend if you’d like to go together!!
